Boat and airboat tours: what they cost

Boat and airboat tours near Orlando cost from €32 to €38 per person on GetYourGuide. That is far less than a park day.

The airboat ride runs 30 minutes, with a wildlife park and an alligator show after it. The Cocoa Beach boat tour runs 2.5 hours on a quiet lagoon. Its captain talks about the wildlife as you go.

No tour can promise animals. You may see dolphins, manatees or alligators, but it is up to nature. Tips are not included on the airboat ride.

Things to do between Orlando and Cocoa Beach

Kennedy Space Center is the big stop between Orlando and Cocoa Beach. It is about 50 miles east of Orlando on SR 528 or SR 50, its own site says.

There is no public transport to the Visitor Complex. Parking costs $15 per car. Entry ends one hour before closing, so start early.

Cocoa Beach is close by. The Space Coast tourism office says it is about 45 minutes east of Orlando on SR 528, a toll road. End the day with the boat tour from Cocoa Beach.

Theme park tickets: the big cost

A theme park day is the biggest cost of an Orlando trip. On GetYourGuide, SeaWorld starts from €80, and one Disney park day from €119.

Official prices on the parks’ own sites are in US dollars. A one-day ticket for Universal’s Islands of Adventure starts from about $125 at Universal, plus tax. Prices change by date.

SeaWorld sells its cheapest one-day ticket online only, from about $60. It is for residents of the US, Puerto Rico and Canada, and it is non-refundable. Parking costs extra at Disney and SeaWorld.

Orlando and Tampa on one ticket

Some Discovery Cove packages add 14 days at SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens. Busch Gardens is in Tampa, so one ticket can cover both cities.

Before you book in Orlando

  1. If your plans change

The five tours with free cancellation give a full refund if you cancel 24 hours before. The Disney and Kennedy Space Center tickets are non-refundable.

  2. Lines: buy before you go

SeaWorld’s cheapest tickets are sold online only, not at the gate. On GetYourGuide, the SeaWorld and Kennedy Space Center tickets are marked “Skip the line”. Check the listing for what that covers.

  3. What costs extra

Parking is extra at Disney and SeaWorld. Kennedy Space Center charges $15 per car. Discovery Cove photo packages and airboat tips are not in the price.

  4. Heat and storms

Orlando’s normal high in July is 92°F (33°C), NOAA says. Storms often build on summer afternoons, the National Weather Service says. Book outdoor tours for the morning.

  5. Bring a card

SeaWorld is cashless: it takes cards and phone payments only, the listing says.

Questions people ask about Orlando

How much does an Orlando trip cost?

It depends on your parks and tours. On GetYourGuide, an airboat ride starts from €32 and one Disney park day from €119 per person. Hotel, food and parking come on top. To pick a base, see where to stay in Orlando.

How many days in Orlando is enough?

Plan one day per park, plus one for a trip out. Disney has four theme parks, and its base ticket is one park per day. Universal has four parks too, but Volcano Bay closes from 26 October 2026 until spring 2027 (Universal, checked 25 October 2026). Add a day for Kennedy Space Center. That is our advice, not a rule.

Can I cancel if my plans change?

Most tours here have free cancellation: cancel 24 hours before for a full refund. Most theme park tickets are non-refundable, and each card says so.

What if it rains?

If a tour company cancels for bad weather, you get your money back, GetYourGuide’s terms say. Summer storms are common. The National Weather Service says over 90% of the area’s lightning falls from May to October, between noon and midnight.
